My ex is a bitch

My ex, Laura Wise, is a shallow, selfish, bitch. She knowingly used me to keep herself happy until she had a system of friends to rely on then she dumped me. Now she's found a new man, well I say Fuck her. She doesn't deserve any happiness that comes her way. If she dies sad and alone, it will be too good for her. She deserves to be alone, and not only alone but whenever she thinks she has found someone who loves her, I hope that guy either dumps her like she did me, cheats on her and makes her feel worthless, or abuses her a treats her like crap, because in the end, Laura Wise is a piece of Crap. She doesn't deserve love, and if she does come anywhere close to finding it, I hope reality sets in and everything she holds dear is destroyed or taken away. Fuck you Laura Wise, you don't deserve an ounce of happiness, and I hope everything that you want you never get, and everything that makes you happy id destroyed or taken from you. You are a fucking bitch, and the day you die a miserable, lonely, sad old women is the day I feel any remorse for what a horrible human being you are, Fuck you, you god damn, son of bitch mother fucking cunt.

Gotta Catch 'em All!

Alrighty Ladies and Gentlmen, I think it's just ladies actually, oh well. But I will now divuldge a secret to you, I have started playing Pokemon again. Yes, the gameboy phenomenom Pokemon. And I will be honest with you, I am again addicted. Now hear me out, I know it is nerdy beyond belief and I am a 22 year old man playing a game meant for people 10 years younger then me. But this game is just, hell it's fun!

And now that I am a more seasoned Video gamer, I can appreciate what Pokemon is, it is a surprisingly deep rpg. The quests and puzzles are simplistic, but the idea and battles are unique and engaging. So to all you pokemon lovers at heart do not be ashamed, after who knows how many years, the bane of every parents exsistence is back, in my life at least, and it's still as fun as you remember!

After many months of Absence you shall all fell my presence again. So heres whats going on in my life since we last left, Laura took a dump on my heart, the long dick of the law had a grand ole time with my bum hole, and I have meetings with a counsler that wants to know how my realtionship with my father is. Also I may not graduate on time and I may not get into a grad school. But you know what? I'm upbeat about life cause well I don't know why but let me give you a nice little anecdote. (still not good at spelling but anyways) Over the summer I was bummed! like beyond depressed but, while I was feeling blue my ipod stumbles upon this song, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TY41o-iZStI . Listen to it, enjoy it, be uplifted by it. Cause After I heard that song I became less and less depressed, was it the song? was it time healing wounds? Who knows, All I know is, Break My Stride is a song garunteed to make your day just a bit brighter.
Peace Bloggers Until Next Time

More Football News

This week is just full of news from around the NFL, this new piece may actually be the saddest news the NFL has heard in quite some time. John Madden, NFL announcer for the past 3 decades has retired from the booth.

Football news!

Ahhh! That was a mini orgasmatron my friends, the big news in the world today, besides pirates messing everyones shit up in somalia, is the release of the NFL's 2009 Regular season schedule. And no offense to all the other teams out there but I don't really give a crap about you, just the Bears. As far as I'm concerned thats all that really matters, for the other games I will see whats on each week and watch what catches my interest, ahh but who the Bears play each week, well thats important to me. And let us think about this nugget, the Bears have the easiest schedule of all NFL teams, the road to the playoffs is becoming a heckuva lot easier for da bears the past few weeks. Another bonus for me? at this time 5 prime time games and each game prior to week4 against the Lions doesn't start until 4:20 or later, that has the potential for a lot of Bears games to view. The Bears are slated to have 3 sunday night games, and One Monday and Thursday night game. The sunday nighters are against the rival Packers, a rematch of one of last years most exciting games against the Falcons, and a rematch of anopther exciting game agaisnt the Eagles (3rd year in a row they've played each other). Of course the match I am most anticipating/Dreading is the Steeler @ Bears game in week 2. I will be quite alone that week as the whole of SRU will be against me. But anyways football fans rejoice the 2009 season approches quickly

Lets Play Ball!

America's Pass-Time is offically back everyone, on April 6th the 2009 Major League Baseball season kicked off. And In case anyone was wondering, I am a Cubs fan, now I am not a huge baseball fan, and Barely know the players on the cubs roster, and don't even ask me about previous Cubs players cause knowledge of them is limited at best. But I am a fan of the MLB's most loveable losers. But this post really isn't about them, all though I will probably talk about their futility sooner or later in a post. No this post is about how baseball is actually a very exciting game, and it's easy to see why it recieved the moniker of America's pass-time. Now for anyone that has watched Baseball on TV we probably both realize, it maybe the most boring sprots event to be put on tv, and if not the most boring deffinatly top 3 (I'm looking at you Golf and NASCAR) but thats ok because Baseball has the unique ability of being a sport better viewed live then on TV. I've been to the big 4 sports events in person (Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Hockey) and Baseball has by far been the most enjoyable live. To starty off anywhere you sit in a baseball stadium is a good seat and you can really tell whats going on (except if it's a pitch or strike but your going to think its one or the other depending whoes batting anyways) but other than that the whole field is open to view, and you can tell what is happening. But in the other sports, especially basketball and Football, depending on where your seats are you can never really tell how great a play was, and in basketball anywhere besides mid court you can never teall whats going on. But in baseball you always know whats happening, also in baseball there is just something about the atmosphere, the ball park is a place to just go and relax. On TV the slow pace of the game is painful, when you are at the park, the laziness of the game works perfectly, just sit back and relaz and enjoy the game. Then of course there's the interaction in baseball, in all the other sports there is very little chance there is any fan involvment, sure maybe a basketball player dives into the crowd, but those seats are so expensive somebody rich or famous is alread there, in hockey the plexiglass seperates the fans, in football they even put up nets to make sure fans don't get kicked balls. But in baseball, home runs are common place and foul balls are routinly thrown to fans. And of course lets not forget even more importantly how fans affect the game, I'm looking at you Steve Bartman and Eric Detweiler. But anyways, Baseball is an American Tradition and I can see why, I can't wait to go see a few ball games this summer.

Bears and a Good QB?

Ah, so many new posts so soon! I can't believe I didn't comment on this when it happened, but after arguably 60 years with out a decent QB the Bears have a star. Jay Cutler the cannon armed QB was traded to the Bears from Denver. Denver recieved 2 first rounders (2009 and 2010) a third rounder (2009) and Former Bears starter Kyle Orton. The Bears Recieved Jay Cutler and the Broncos' Fifth round pick. So I can honestly say this seems too good to be true, Not since the days of Sid Luckman have the Bears been this scary (in a good way) at the QB position. With the addition of Cutler the Bears O has become dynamic, Matt Forte was scary good his rookie season and that was with opposing D's loading the box to stop him because there was no passing threat, and with another year under his belt, and Cutler under center the running game is even better. The O-line has gone through an overhaul, as Orlando Pace, the Veteran from St. Louis, was signed to sure up the left side, this leaves 2008's first Rounder Chris Williams to develop at on the Right side (which is an easier position to dominated at then Left Tackle) Olin Kreutz is still the rock at center and the Guards are young, but have veteran leadership to help round out a pretty deep O-line that may not be as bad as some make it out to be. The defense, while getting older should see a positive impact from Cutler as the Offense can now stay on the field longer and allow the D to rest a bit, Urlacher is keeping it strong in the middle, and Tommie Harris, Alex Brown, and Company should be improved on the line.

Not everything for the Bears is honket dory though, The secondary is painfully old and the loss of Mike Brown doesn't make things better. The recivers are also unproven as Devin Hester is the number 1 guy right now, and he really should be a return specialist and be brought in as the x factor on certain plays, he loses something trying to be a bonafide reciver. Earl Bennet and Rashied Davis will be batlling for number 2, Bennet played with Cutler and Vanderbilt, but they will both need to reconnect and Bennet needs to see the field (he did not play in '08). But it isn't hard to believe that Drafting a reciever in the second round, a couple d-backs in the third round and looking for the diamonds in the rough at the D-line position later in the draft and the Bears would be sleepers for the Super Bowl, as they are right now, They are the Sexy pick to win the north, and I am on the bandwagon.

Cosmic Bitch Slap

Sooo....It has been far too long since I've posted and even longer since that a post hasn't run down a list of something I enjoy. So it might be important to catch everyone (all 3 people) up on what has been going on in my life. (And let me tell you it's quite a tale). Well first off, I am caught up academically here at SRU, and Will be a full fledged senior come fall of 2009, unfortunatly, I may not be in school. But more on that later. After nearly 3 years of thinking I would be at good ol' SRU for at least an extra semester, I have found out that I will be able to graduate with my fellow class of '06 mates and become the class of '10. Alas, with all that was looking up in my life the things that are greater than I decided to send me back to eartn in a big way. On April 1st I made a choice that altered my future forever. To sum it up I have been charged with Furnishing Minors with Alcohol, and That charge will keep me from becoming a teacher, and SRU has a minimum 1 semester suspension for that charge. So I will be forced to leave school for a semester and come back a semester behind, again. Now that isn't bad by it-self, but coupled with the fact that I will not be able to become a teacher seriously alters what I plan on doing with my life. One, what can I do with a history degree? Not a heckuva lot. So depending on what the court system does I will be left graduating in December of 2010, with esentially a useless degree. Hard times if I ever saw them, but I will not despair (I just realized I have no idea how to spell that word), because If the charges are reduced I can have them exsopunged from my record and I will be able to become a teacher still, and If they aren't changed, well two new options open up to me, maybe they will both be intertwined. With my degree I could head down to DC and work in many of t=Americas finest museums, or if I feel extra daring attend school for another 4-6 years and become Dr. Nishan Thomas Garabedian, and then I will be able to teach again, but this time at College, a bit more prestigious (I really stink at this "English" stuff). So lets recap, my life was going swell, the cosmos Biotch-Slap me and now I am picking up the pieces and moving forward again. So maybe in 2015 or so I will become the first PhD in my family which is, in itself, something that I can get excited about. But we will see what the future holds for me, so Bring it on Cosmos, Mr. Garabedian is coming back for more!

Pee your pants funny

So last night I was bored, a party I was going to go to was getting busted as I pulled up so I made a U-turn and headed back to the dorm. What to do I thought? Video-Games? no thats for tomorrows boredom. Reading for class? Haha, not yet. Watch TV? Nothing's on, dang-it! So it finally came down to play around on the internet aka look for movies to watch online. Well I go to my favorite site for such activities, and I couldn't think of any movies that I wanted to watch so I just start scrolling through the movies when I come across history of the world part 1. It's a movie by Mel Brooks and the plot of the movie is described right there in the title. Now I planed to watch this movie, until I found the quality of the video was poor, unwatcheably poor. But I viewed long enough to come across a clip that had me literally LOL. Here's the exact moment where I giggled like a school girl History of the World part 1. I hoped you watched it to know what I find funny, people being ridicously over the top.

TO's New Home

To all my football fans, TO is on the market. The cowboys released the outspoken reciever earlier this week, in a move that Jerry Jones claimed was to save cap space. Right. Owens signed a 3 year deal last year and it seemed he would be a cowboy for the rest of his career.

TO has had quite the storied career, Playing second fiddle to the Great Jerry Rice TO has paved himself a hall of fame worthy career, his 139 career reciving TDs are second all time in NFL history, he's 5th on recieving yards list, and 6th on the receptions list. He also owns the record for receptions in a game with 20, which happened during Jerry Rice's final game as a 49er. He is one of the best recievers to play the game, if you look at the stats. But his antics off the field have sullied his career. In San Fran he was openly critical of QB Jeff Garcia, and it pushed Jeff out of SF as well as himself. In Philly one year after he helped carry the eagles to the Super Bowl Owens again questioned his QB and was pushed out of town heading to Dallas. TO helped the Cowboys be one of the NFC's top teams during his first 2 years there, but this past season the bad TO reared his ugly head and criticized Tony Romo and Jason Witten. So Jerry Jones pulled the trigger and has sent TO packing.

So the most important question today is where will TO land next? There is no question TO is still extremly talented and when he isn't complaining about his teammates he's one player you'd love to have on your team, because he is an all around reciever, he'll go over the middle, he'll block he'll draw coverage away from other players. But TO is TO and you're taking the good with the bad with the guy. So lets run down a list of teams that would benifit from the TO experiance.

1. Miami- Bill Parcells was last coaching in Dallas with TO, and TO was well behaved, the relationship was icy but it worked, and with Miami showing progress, an explosive playmaker on Offense outside of Ronnie Brown, would do wonder to make Miami a powerhouse again.

2. New England- Bill Belicheck has a knack for getting the most out of any player. And also reining in troubled wideouts IE Randy Moss, So TO in NE would be a scary situation for any and all opposing teams.

3. Baltimore- The Ravens are always in need of some offense and TO would be the proven playmaker they need. Although exposing young Joe Flacco to Owens may be detrimental to his career.

4. Oakland- The Raiders are home to NFL outcasts and Al Davis would be more than pleased to have a homerun hitter on offense. JaMarcus Russels big arm would intruige TO.

5. Chicago- As much as it would pain me to see the Bears expose themselves to TO the idea of the Bears having a legit receiving threat might put them back into playoff form.

Those are just a few teams, and excluding Philadelphia, Arizona, the 49ers, and maybe 3 others any Team would benifit from TO's services.

So any NFL team that is willing to risk signing TO realize that he will undoubtly help your team in the shor run, but in the long run bad TO will show up and hurt your team chemistry, but wherever he lands in '09 it will be fun to watch

*With in a few hours of this post TO signed a deal with the BUffalo Bills. This move makes sense but was surprising, lets see if TO can get the Bills over the hump!

Updates on mi life

Hello all 5 or 6 of you out there, I think I'll take a break from my usual top 10 post, and give everyone an update about whats going on in my life. So, first off, my dad just had neck surgery, but he's good and should be back on to his Fatboy and Ironhorse in no time. The surgery was to relieve pressure on his spine or something like that, he got it in a car accident several years ago in New Jersey, and it has slowly gotten worse.

"Spring" break starts today after classes here at SRU and pretty much every other PA state school. I quote spring because it's still february and the first day of spring is like march 19th. so yea it's more like midterm vacation. Of course for all my christians out there it is now day 3 of lent, aka 37 more days til easter. For lent this year I have given up all liquids except water, last year I gave up soda and that was tough but at least I had tea and juice, this year nothing, just water and if I'm lucky some flavored water. My friend Bubba tried to give up cursing, he broke that like 10 times in the first 3 minutes of doing so.

Over break I will begin work on an 8 page minimum research paper, the Subject? one side of my family through at least 3 generations. I've decided to focus on my moms side, I could have chosen my Dads for the whole he's Iraqi standpoint, but I know very little about the Garabedians, so I will go over to the Kenjosians and research my mom, gradpa, and great grandmother. It should be fun but extremly tideous.

Apparently a blood vessel popped in my eye now I look like the T-800. And the red in my eye has grown larger all week, at first it was barely noticable but now it's covering a large portion of the eye. Weird! Speaking of giant killing robots, I'm glad Wall-E won the Oscar last sunday, I'm pretty sure it could have made a run for best picture.

I'm not sure when I will post again, probably not until after break on the 8th so until then peace honkey!

Top 10 animated movies (sort of)

Okay, so I wanted this post to be the top 10 3d animated movies, then I started the list and realized that there are a lot of good 3d animated movies, I think it has to be because making this type of movie is slightly expensive, so only the best stories are made and then they are made well, so here is the top 20 3d animated movies.

20. TMNT- Ok, I have never seen this movie, I know I love the ninja turtles, but I have never watched it even though I want to, I don't know whats wrong with me, but anyways, word of mouth is this movie is ok, not quite the same as the TV show or real life movies, but as a life long TMNT fan I had to add this.

19. BOLT- This movie is fairly new and is in the running for best animated picture at this years oscar. I haven't seen it, but Laura, my girlfriend has, and she said it was a good movie, it was funny and had a good story, she even said the ending might make you cry.

18. Monster House- Not a very successful movie, but if watched its quite good, the story is original, a house is possessed by an angry ghost and eats those who makes fun of it. I really put this movie on here because when I watched it there was something about the animation that impressed me, the movements seemed real, while it is a cartoon the excelent animation gives it some reality.

17. Polar Express- The beloved christmas book got the grand animation/Tom Hanks Treatment. I had a hard time believing they could create a feature length movie from the book, but they did, although it is a bit drawn out at parts, but it is a very good movie that stayed pretty faithful to the book. Tom Hanks as Santa is a bit weird though.

16. Antz- This mostly forgot movie came out arounf the same time as A Bugs Life, but this movie was a bit more adult oriented, the cast for the movie was all star, including Gene Hackman, Woody Allen, Sly Stallone, and J-Lo. The story was original and the movie was funny. If i watched it now i would probably chuckle at parts still.

15. A Bugs Life- Ah, the first Pixar movie on the list. This was Pixar's second movie and it wasn't bad, it took the tale of the ant and grasshopper and gave it a gradious remake. I was never a real huge fan of bugs life, but it was a good movie and hiemlich the caterpillar/butterfly was an all time great character.

14. Madagascar- I'm talking both movies cause I can Lump em together if I want, it's my blog. Madagascar follows the plight of 4 zoo friends as they try to find out if there is more to life then the zoo, they end up being moved to a sactuary in africa, but are instead lost at sea and stranded on the title island. The story for the first movie was original, and it was a funny movie, well not really, but the more I watched the funnier it became.

13. The Incredibles- The first Pixar movie to be about humans, humans with superpowers, but humans. I liked this movie, but realized this movie was quite different then all other Pixar movies because it seemed a bit darker, and it is, but it works and it is a good movie.

12. Horton Hears a Who- Another movie based on a childrens book where I thought, a feature length movie from that book? And it was a good movie, I've only seen it once, but it was good, it was funny, fast paced and a good experiance. I think that any time some one wants to make a dr suess movie, cast jim carrey.

11. Kung Fu Panda- Ok, going into the movie I felt that this was going to be lame, but I sat down, watched from start to finish, and found I really liked this movie. The morals it teaches have been taught before, believe in yourself, be yourself, follow your dreams, but this movie does it in a fresh new way, and dang it it was funny and the animation aspect did a lot for the kung fu sequences. This movie could have been in the top 10, but as you will see their is stiff competiton in the second half of the list.

10. Ratatouille- Ah, what to say about this movie, another believe in yourself follow your dreams movie, but it was from 2 different perspectives, a kid who wants to be a chef but is horrible in the kitchen, and a rat who is a great chef and wants to be a chef, but is a rat. When I watched this movie I thought it was deffinatly one of the best Pixar movies to date.

9. Surfs Up- The mockumentary about penguins who surf. When it first came out it seemed like a dud movie, but it is actually a really good movie. The documentary aspect gave it a fresh way to view animated movies, and the acting was great in it. Shia was great as the lead, and John Heder may have had his best performance since Napoleon Dynamite in this movie. A great movie.

8. Ice Age- Funny, Original, Heartwarming, starstudded. It's all the things a good animated film should be. And the advertising ploy for the movies is awesome, take a cute squirell, and put him through hell to burry his acorn. Thats it. It worked great. Ray Romano makes a great mamoth.

7. Finding Nemo- For a while this Pixar movie was considered the best the studio could produce. The water animations were amazing, the characters were well developed, the story was ingaging, and I'll be darned if it wasn't the cutest thing ever. Also Ellens performance in this movie was classic, it may be one of the most perfect castings done for any of the movies on this list.

6. Happy Feet- An animated musical. An underlying conservation moral. A great movie. America was on a penguin kick a few years ago with march of the penguins, Surfs Up, and Happy Feet all being imensely popular. Happy Feet was probably the best of the 3 as it was more personal then March, and more conservation conscience than surfs up. Again the casting in this movie was star studded and the baby penguins made you want to travel to antartica to kidnap one for yourself they were so cute.

5. Cars- I don't know what it is about Cars, but I can't get enough of the movie. First I thought it would be a lame Nascar movie, but it wasn't it was a great movie. And I feel after 14 times typing this, but the casting was awesome. Owen Wilson was great at playing an arrogant racer. Michael Keaton was a great antagonist, and Paul Newman it I think may be his last role, added a great amount of weight to the Role of Doc. The story was original, and probably struck a cord with the older audience as it called on the good ol days.

4. Toy Story- The movie that started it all. Toy Story had an original story, Tom Hanks and Tim Allen were perfect, and it was funny. Even the Second one was good. Of all the movies mentioned and excluding one more movie yet to be listed this is the only movie I wish they would make another sequal to.

3. Shrek- 3d animated movies were popular before shrek, but after shrek animated movies were THE thing. Shrek was hilarious, original, the characters were engaging and you felt attached to them. In fact my art teacher in highschool showed this movie when we were learning about film appertiation, he claimed it may be the most perfect movie because it was based in reality, everything that happens in that world, could happen thus making it complete. The sequals have tarnished the Shrek name a bit, but not too much.

2. Monsters Inc.- I mentioned the components of a great animated movie earlier. Original story, check the monsters in your closet are real, but they are doing their job to fuel their society. Funny, check. Billy Crystal was hilarious, and the slap stick scene whith Boo's first night in the apartment great. Starstudded, check. Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Jennifer Tilly, Steve Buscemi. Heartwarming, check. Ever watch the last 15 minutes of the movie? Mosters Inc held the title as best Pixar movie untill...

1. WALL-E- Yes this movie is the best Pixar has put out, period. The story for the movie is original, and most fasinating, plausible. The main character is probably the cutest put on screen by pixar, and the one you feel for the most even though the largest word he says through out the movie is a mangled version of directive. I can't explain how much I love this movie. And that is why it is the Top 3d animated movie

Top 10 Bears Players

Ok, so by now most of you know I have an Unhealthy love for the Chicago Bears, so I will list the Top 10 Bears Players. This Is a difficult list to assemble because, the bears are the oldest professional football team in the world. So there are a lot of players to get through.

Honorable Mention-George Halas, known more for his coaching and creation of the NFL, people forget he was defensive end and Wide reciever for the Bears and held the record for longest fumble return for a TD from 1923-1972. Papa Bear is only honorable mention as a player because he was a better coach, manager, and creator of NFL then a standout player.

10. Brian Urlacher MLB- He's still playing but Brian Urlacher is carrying on the tradition of great Middle line backers playing in the Windy City. He won Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2000, and twice been defensive player of the year in 2001 and 2005. Led his team to Super Bowl XLI and is on the verge of 1,000 tackles in his career. This may or may not be enough for the Hall of Fame, but it's pretty damn good.

9. Mike Ditka TE-Iron Mike is remembered as a tough nose coach, the ying to buddy ryans yang on the bears of the 80's, and as the beloved focal point of an SNL skit. But as a player Mike Ditka was also fearsome. He helped pave the way for recieving tightends as he had 56 receptions in his rookie season earning him Rookie of the year honors. He won an NFL championship in 1963 and was a pro bowl selection every year he was a bear. He was the first tightend selected to the hall of fame in 1988. Next to Papa Bear Halas, DIT-KA is the most beloved coach in Bears history.

8. Bronko Nagurski RB/DT - Bronko Played Running back and defensive line for the bears from 1930 to 37. He was 6-2 and 230lbs. He would have dominated at any point in NFL history. He never had amazing stats (3,510 career rusing yards on 775 attempts and 25 tds) but the new dynamic he brought to the NFL was what made him great he was a big brusing back that ran over and through people rather than around them and is a fore father to the modern fullback position. He was also selected to the probowl as an offensive tackle, a defensive tackle, and running back. The only player to make a probowl at 3 positions. The award for best Defensive lineman in college is named after him. He was a charter member of the Hall of Fame in 1963.

7. Dan Hampton DE/DT- His stat aren't eye popping, he was never defensive player of the year, and he only one 1 championship, but there is one stat that truley shows how much of an impact "Danimal" had, in his 12 year tenure for the bears (79-90) the Bears defense ranked #1 allowing the fewest rushing yards, rushing tuchdowns, lowest total yards, fewest points, and registering the most sacks. He Made the hall of fame in 2002.

6. Sid Luckman QB- When you think bears the last thing you think of is QB. But the bears had Sidney Luckman in the 1940's and he helped revoulitonized the QB position. His numbers are what tell the tale. One MVP award, second higest yards per completion (8.4), 7 years he had the higest yards per completion in the NFL including 5 strait years from 39-43 which is the most in NFL history, Touchdown Percentage of 7.8 is highest in NFL history (including one season where it was 13.9), Tied for most TD passes in one game (7), led the league in passing yards 3 times, and one 4 NFL championships, including the 1940 championship where the final score was 73-0. Made the Hall of Fame in 1965.

5. Mike Singletary MLB- Mike Singletary could stare you into a tackle. Thats how intese he played. He finished his career with over 1,400 tackles and made the pro bowl 10 times. He won Defensive MVP twice in 85 and 88. Was a cornerstone of the 85 championship team and has a tie for a super bowl record with 2 fumble recoveries. he made the Hall of Fame in 1998.

4. Dick Butkus MLB- Butkus made the Middle line backer what it is today, the QB of the defense. He led the team in tackles, interceptions, forced fumbles, and fumble recoveries his rookie season. He went to the probowl 8 times, and was one of the most feared players during his era and even appered on SI because of it. He also won 2 NFL defensive player of the year awards in 1969 and 1970 The award for best MLB in college is named after him. He made the Hall of Fame in 1979.

3. Gale Sayers RB/KR- The kansas comet entered the NFL with a splash, in his rookie year he had 22 TDs a record that stood until a few years ago (he played in 14 games). And Tied the record for TDs in a game with 6. He had a 5.2 yards per attemp rush average, 17.5 per reception, 14.9 per punt return and 31.4 per kick return. He was just as electrifying the rest of his career but injuries hampered his production, he still holds several records like higest kick return average in NFL histor with 30.52 and most kickoff return TDs with 6, also he still holds the highest TDs in a rookie season with 22. He was selected to 4 probowls and won pro bowl mvp 3 times. He made the hall of fame in 1977.

2. Red Grange RB/DB- Red Grange doesn't have nearly the stats as anyother offensive player here. He is here for one important reason, he may be one of the reasons we still have pro football today. Grange was a highly popular athlete in college, when college football was still way more popular then pro. With the most popular athlete in football going to the NFL his fans followed helping to make the NFL legit. In his 10 year career he scored 32 tds, amassed 569 rush yards and 288 recieving yards. He was a charter Hall of Fame member in 1963.

1. Walter Payton RB- Sweetness is considered by many to be the greatest RB in the History of the NFL, and if he isn't number 1 on someone's list he's no lower than 2nd. The most important stat is when Payton retired in 1987 he had the career rushing record with 16,726 yards. He made 9 probowls winning pro bowl mvp in his first. He earned MVP honors in 1977. He finished with 110 rushing TD's (still ranked third all time) and 15 more recieving TDs. He was also extremly durable as he still holds the Bears Record for consecutive games played with 186, he only missed one game in 13 seasons, in his rookie year. He has two awards named after him, The Walter Payton Award is given to the Best FCS (I-AA) offensive player. And The Walter Payton Man of the Year award is given to the NFL player with outstanding community service achievment in a season. Walter Payton was voted into the Hall of Fame in 1993.

Top 10 Movies based on books

Here is a completly un-objective list of the Top 10 movies based on books

10. Friday Night Lights.
Based on the Book "Friday Night Lights; A Town, A Team, A Dream" The book and movie are about the Permian Pathers, a high school in texas' football team. It follows the story of the team as they make a run for playoffs, and make a run through the playoffs. Both the movie and book capture the fever that is highschool football, and the joys and dissapointments it brings to the players, coaches, and towns people. A great read and watch for any sports fan.

9. Letters From Iwo Jima
Letters from Iwo Jima is based on the same book by the same title. The book tells of the battle of Iwo Jima from the perspective of the Japanese soliders. The movie is haunting as it portrays these young men in ways you probably never thought of. The book is based on letters found by the commanding officer of the Japanese army on Iwo Jima. I suggest that any of you who read this go to blockbuster and get a copy of letters.

8.The Notebook
Based on, ah heck only girls read this blog anyways you know what the book and movie are about. But anyways, I actually liked this movie, The ending brought tears to my eyes.

7. The Green Mile
Based on the 7 part Mini book series that made up The Green Mile. Both the Book and movie focus on Paul Edgecomb, a prison security guard who is incharge of death row during the great depression. The move talks about the events that surrounded the death of John Coffey. A strange inmate on the green mile, who has some sort of divine healing power, both the book and movie are moving, also try and watch the John Coffey death scene with out chocking up, i'll wait, no i can't because you can't no choke up at that scene. Another book and movie I can't recommend any higher.

6. Jurassic Park
Based on Jurrasic Park. The story: Dinosaurs brought back to life and are placed in worlds greatest zoo. Dinosaurs start actting like dinos and eat all people at zoo. Dinosaurs, if that isn't enough to make you read/watch i don't know what is.

5. 300
Based on graphic comic 300. While not technically a book, it is in printed form beform motion picture form. Follows the story of 300 highly trained spartan soliders as they face off against the persian army in a fight to protect their homeland. The movie while deffinatly a testosterone party is a much deeper movie, don't believe me? watch it a second time after you fight the urge to kill a bear with your bare hands chop off the bears hands and kill another bear with your bear hands, and you'll see the movie has a deep love story, nationlistic story, its funny, its drama heavy, and it's enjoyable from start to finish.

4.Harry Potter
Based on the Harry Potter series. Can't pick a favorite move just like I can't pick a favorite book (Actually thats a lie the 4th book is my fave) But the movies have seem to become more and more awesome as they progress, 1 was awesome when it came out but was actually poopy, 2 was the same except not as exciting at launch, 3 was good but you have to ease into it, 4 showed promise, but it fell short of my expectations, and 5 was the best so far, and with 6 only a few months away, and 7 set to be in 2 movies things only look up for Harry.

3. Lord of the Rings
The most beloved fantasy book created one of the most beloved fantasy trilogies. The books and movies follow frodo and his band of loyal friends as they try to destroy the ring of power, before sauron, ok I feel really nerdy explaining the books and movies to you so i'm going to stop and say return of the king is one of 3 movies in the histroy of the oscars, 81 years worth to win 11 oscars. Those are pretty good numbers.

2. The Godfather
Yea it's a book, look it up in wikipedia if you don't believe me, ok so i'm about to discredit myself, but I have never seen the Godfather, not one minute of any one of them, sorry I know I'm supposed to be the movie buff of the Garabedians, but I've never seen the greatest movies of all time according to some, but I am doing them an honor and placing them at 2. I left 1 for a movie and book I have watched and Read

1. Brian's Song
Based on the Book I Am Third. The book is an autobiography by Gale Sayers, The movie is about Brian Piccolo. The book has one chapter in it describing the plight of Brian Piccolo, and it became the most successful TV movies ever and arguably the best sports movie ever. The movie is about Brian Piccolo, a Chicago Bears RB in the mid to late 60's. Brian and Gale have a strong freindship, and Brian helps Gale through a tough knee injury. Then Brian gets cancer and Gale tries to help Brian, but Brian passes away. Now there are 2 movies men are allowed to cry during, and only 2 with out being ridiculed by others. One is old Yeller. The other is Brian's Song. A great buddy movie, a great sports movie, a great tear jerker movie. Yep Brian's Song has it all.

Top 10 Video Games

I think I will start a new reaccuring blog. Top 10. I will List a top 10 list of my favorite or least Favorite things this issue I will Focus on my top 10 videogames.

10. The NCAA series. I once saw an episode of the videogame review show X-Play and they reviewed NCAA 2003. I asked for it for christmas, and I was hooked. In fact NCAA 2009 is the only one I don't own since locking onto the series 6 years ago. Favorite Moment: Using the Notre Dame fighting Irish Mascot team to dismantle USC.

9. Donkey Kong Country. Ah everyone's favorite Gorilla and Monkey cousin. DKC is probably my favorite Super Nintendo Game. It had action adventure a great story and fun gameplay. The mine cart level cause unlimited amounts of frustration and brings new meaning to the word oopah! Favorite Moment: When King Krunk comes back for round 2 in the final boss fight

8. Tennage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles in Time. Haven't played this since before the mid 90's and I remember it as the most awesome game of my young life. Looking at the cover makes me want to go out and play it right now. Favorite Moment: The entire dinosaur level

7. The Madden NFL football Series. Seriously, what guy gamer doesn't have madden in his top 10 list? The thrill of taking over your favorite players is a fantasy we all have and thanks to this amazing sports series, we're allowed to do that. Favorite Moment: Creating a fantasy team that has Drew Brees at qb Larry Fitzgerald at WR, LT and AP sharing the back field, and Brian Urlacher and Bob Sanders wrecking havock on D.

6. GTA: Vice City. GTA Vice city is a spinoff of the popular GTA series, it takes place in the 80's in Miami like Vice city. This game is awesome for it's open endness and the ability to ride motorcycles and helicopters. Favorit Moment: First Time speeding on a motorcycle.

5. Super Mario 64. One of the first true fully 3d video games. And it pulled it off perfectly. The level designs were varied, the game play was fun, the story captive. If Mario wasn't the poster boy for video games before, SM64 cemented him there. Favorite Moment: In the sky level, falling off the edge near the top of the level only to grab the ledge of the final platform at the bottom of the level.

4. Mario Kart. Doesnt Matter which one. They're all great. But I guess we should talk about his most recent game on the Wii. There's a reason you can't find this game. It maybe one of the most fun games the wii has to offer and anyone can play. Favorite Moment: Taking the lead via a star, super mushroom, or blue turtleshell.

3. Super Smash Brothers. Fighting games had been around a long time. Beat up the other guy until his health reaches zero. Nintendo said, what if, and that was that. SSB for the N64 combined your favorite characters from the nintendo universe and had them beat the crap out of each other. The box cover was all you needed to see how sweet the game really was, mario about to stone cold stun pickachu? Instant classic. Favorite Moment: Having captain Falcon's Falcon Punch send an enemy flying off stage.

2. Star Fox 64. Probably the best game you could have bought for 64 along with SSB. star fox was a game I could pick up now and enjoy from start to finish. The missions were all the same kill anything that moved, and the game executed that game flawlessly, the novice could have fun tapping A until their finger fell off and the more experianced gamer had fun trying to complete the game by taking the hard route. Favorite Moment: Attacking planet Venoms Outer Defense system, Probably the hardest level in the game, but it's soo much fun.

1. Super Smash Bros: Melee. Ok I know you're going to say, you clumped all the mario karts into one catergory, you should do the same here. But SSBM is a whole different experiance than the original. To imagine how much this game has improved on it's predocessor imagine the evolution of TV start with the the Black and white TV, now imagine the very next one you buy is a flat screen HD plasma. Yea thats what SSBM is to SSB. They more than doubled the number of characters (12 to 26) the graphics improved to the point where you could the stiches in the players clothing. And they added new features, game play modes, stages, and types of attackes. Favorite Moment: For me it was breathing fire with bowser for the first time, but again the Falcon Punch Finisher is always satisfying.

Tid Bits

I just read a list by Sean Nelson, it was a list of actors he thinks need to hang up the gloves and retire from acting. Check here for the full article. But I will run down some of the actors that he thinks should retire and I think should keep on keepin' on.

Second guy on Sean's list, Al Pachino. Now I don't disagree with this as Al probably has his best work well behind him, but I think Al has earned the right to stay on as long as he likes. Al Pachino, Robert DeNiro, and Jack Nicholson have earned the right to do whatever they please with their careers.

Very Next Guy. Will Smith. I was enjoying this article very much until I came upon this little tid-bit of Sean's "I liked DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince a lot, and though I never saw the TV show, I have been disappointed in every step of Smith's career since." Really? You're basing the guys entire acting career on his rap career? The fresh prince, aka Will Smith, was not an actor until his hit series "The Fresh Prince od Bel Air". Sean lost all credibility with me right there. One TFPOBA is one of the funniest shows ever and has, in my opinion carved it self out as our generations greatest TV show. But to say Will's career has been on a downward spiral since, is ludacris. Will was in a lot of summer blockbusters early on (Independence Day and Bad Boys) but just because critics give no respect to these movies is to say Will is a bad actor, and he has really stepped his game up in recent years, I felt that his performance in I Am Legend was fantastic, and his Portrayal as Muhammed Ali in Ali was also amazing. Am I dissapointed he is remaking karate kid? Hell yea, but, Will is turing into this generations top actor.

Sean Astion, was in second in actors that need to retire because, Sean the author was afraid Sean the actor would be typecast as a hobbit the rest of his career, and then he gave us this nugget. "It's not quite to Christopher Reeve levels, where the portrayal was so iconic that the actor literally had to become paralyzed before anyone was capable of thinking of him out of his costume." Yea thats right Sean Nelson said Christopher Reeve's had to break his neck to stop being considered Superman. Mr. Nelson, WTF? One thats a low blow, and two Sean is a fantastic actor, but really hasn't he been type cast all his career? Goonies, loveable loser. Rudy, Loveable loser underdog, Lord of the Rings, loveable loser sidekick. Thats who Sean Astion is, the loveable loser, and he plays that part perfectly, you on the other hand are a bit of a joke Mr. Nelson.

Here is my list of actors who shoul quit while they're ahead.

1. Harrison Ford. I know he's an Icon but he's not the same young gun he used to be. Indiana Jones and Han Solo are some of the most Iconic film characters, ever, And if you've never seen Witness, well go do that now. But Age has caught up with him, I haven't seen Indy 4 yet, but I hear it's awful because Harrison just doesn't make a good 50ish Indy. So Mr. Ford quit while you're ahead.

2. Tim Allen. Home Improvement may rank right behind Fresh Prince on my top 90's sitcoms. And his work in the Toy Story series put pixar on the map. But what else is there? I liked him in the original Santa Clause, but the next two are rubbish. And other than that it's been a bit of a train wreck so, Tim quit while you're ahead. (Unless TS3 is in the works, get on that).

3. Jon Heder. Or better known as Napoleon Dynamite. Now you want to talk about Type Cast. Jon will never, and I mean never live down that role. I did like him in Surfs Up as Chicken Joe. But other than that, you're Napoleon. So quit while you're ahead Jon. (I think now's a good time to let everyone know if someone is the voice in an animated movie, I'll probably enjoy that performance)

Ok now here are two people I believe should get more parts.

Djimon Hounsou. He played Juba in Gladiator, The handyman in Beauty Shop, The trainer in Never Back Down, and will play a bad guy in the upcoming movie Push. This guy is good, I really like him and think any part he gets will be better because of it. He reminds me of Morgan Freeman and Don Cheadle.

Patrick Warburton. He's one of those, That Guy actors. You probably know him by his voice. here's a quick rundown of his more famous roles. Joe Swanson on Family Guy, Krunk in The Emperors New Groove, The tick in The Tick, Agent T in Men in Black II, Buzz Lightyear in the Buzz light Year tv series. Now I can't explain to you how much i've laughed at this guy, he has such a sense of dry, dumb wit humor. And He makes almost every role he's in memorable.

No Mo Foo' Ball

Anyone watch the probowl yesterday? Anyone? No? Well I didn't watch it from start to finish either. But at the conclusion of the Pro Bowl Around 8pm Last night the 2008 NFL season has officialy come to a close. And that is one of the saddest moments of the year. It's that type of sad that you have when something you really like or love goes away, but it'll come back eventually but you're still sad. Like the feeling the day after christmas, or after a party ends and your left the mess to clean, or when you're little and your grandparents come to visit and when they leave, you know the feeling I'm talking about. Well thats how I feel after the pro bowl ends. My favorite pass time is gone.

For those who don't know the Pro Bowl is a special game played between the AFC and NFC the week after the superbowl. The players in the game are selected by Fans, Players, and Coaches. Fans select their favorite player from each position for both teams. The players and coaches do the same, but they aren't allowed to vote for themselves or players on their team. The coaches for each team are the coaches from the losing team of each respective confrences championship game. This year it was the Eagles staff for the NFC and the Ravens Staff for the AFC. It has been held in Hawaii for several years, but soon it will be relocated to Tampa or Miami, I'm not too sure which one right now.

Ok, so this year the NFC won the pro bowl 30-21, and the winners get a $45,000 bonus, and the losers get $22,500. Now I like the pro bowl, it's fun to see these star studded teams take the field. Peyton Manning to Andre Johnson? YES PLEASE! Drew Brees to Larry Fitzgerald? Holy cow, these are fantasy team wet dreams. But One problem for me with the pro bowl. When it is held, the week after the super bowl? The Super Bowl is the quintessential NFL game and then to follow it up with little more than an exhibition game? Sorry that doesn't quite work. Now how about you move it up 2 weeks? ahh! now the game gets some more attention. For those who don't know, There is a 2 week period between the conference championships and the SB, That one sunday where no football of any type happens is a lonely lonely sunday, after nearly 5 months worth of sundays with football to suddenly cut us off like that is cruel, so you place the pro bowl that weekend and boom you get a renewed interest in the pro bowl. It seems like a win win for everyone. The players from the super bowl that were elected to the PB would probably be ok with the fact they can't play in that game, the super bowl is the super bowl for a reason.

But back to the facts, excluding 4 days next week there will be no major football action until near the end of April. So lets see, february, March, April. After 5 months, 6 if you count preseason, of football action we are left with nothing for nearly 3 months. I used to have the NFL network that had full coverage of the NFL combine, and talked about NFL non stop so at least I could stop in and watch there for my football fill, but alas I no longer have that channel, and i am left with waiting until April for the NFL draft. It is a sad day for me!

Good ol' Days

Just thinking about the good ol days of 90's cartoons. Many a childhood memories were watching disney cartoons after pre schools and kindergarten. There were so many and I loved them all, some more than others of course so I'm just going to run down which ever ones I remember and what my favorite episode is, if I can remember it.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles- You can't ask a male about cartoons from the 90's and not expect TMNT to be near the top of the list. If i have to include a synopsis of what TMNT is I think you should just move along the tale of these shell-tacular brothers is second only to the story of jesus. My favorite episode is split between 2, when there were aliens disguised as pizzas or when the turtles meet themselves when they are no-longer teenaged. It also has arguably the greatest openings known to man

Duck Tails- Huey, Dooey, and Louie Duck live with their retarted rich unle Scrooge McDuck. They have many misadventures with the side kick from darkwing duck and just have a life like a hurricane here in duckburgh. My favorite episode, was actually the movie in which the three nephews find a magical lamp with a duck genie!

Darkwing Duck- Imagine Batman, except with a duck, and imagine robin as goofy, but as a duck, and imagine bruce wayne was a middle class american, and you have darkwing duck. Don't remember this show too much but the theme song was crazy awesome.

Inspector Gadget- My sister hated it, but I LOVE INSPECTOR GADGET. the man, while a bumbling idiot was hilarious and had whatever you wanted right at hand, or foot, or top of his head. Who doesn't want his helicopter apparatus? Favorite episode? hmmm one time penny and brain were trapped in a silo, i think, i dunno it was awesome

Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers- No not about male strippers, the cute chipmunks of course. They along with other woodland critters (mice to be exact) helped solve crimes for other small woodland creatures. They used their brains brawn and slapstick hijinks to get the job done. Favorite episode was when dale fell in love with a bat they team was trying to help, but turns out she was a bad guy, but then was good at the end, can't remember exactly but who cares its chip n' dale!
Batman- Oh shit! before the movie series jumped the shark but after Tim Burton made two of the sweetest movies known to man there was this. Again if you don't know batman...well i don't know what to tell you. Favorite episode? Hmmm they're all my favorite!

Well thats all I can think of now, ahh to relive the good ol days!
So I know I'm going to come off as just an angry prick now, but WTFs up with smoking? Ciggarets to be specific. I just don't get it. Yea ok it's an addicting drug and can be hard to stop once you start. So, why even start in the first place? There is nothing positive or attractive about smoking. It makes your teeth yellow, your lungs black, your skin discolored, makes your clothes and hair reek...just nothing good. And don't give me any of this well all my friends do it so i have to do it too, your friends are idiots and your a bigger idiot if you follow along. And to those of you who think smoking makes you look more intelligent or intelectual...how intellegent is it to use a product that right on packaging says more or less "if you use this product you're health is probably going to get fucked, hard" And all you people that hold on to your cigaretes because your stubborn and don't feel like people have the right to take what you love away from you, I think a) you're just a stubborn jackass b) you do have that right, but why you want to keep cigaretes of all things is beyond me and c) if you get lung cancer, thorat cancer, mouth cancer, anything directly related to cigarete usage, I feel no sympathy for you. I know that may sound heartless, but seriously it says right on the fucking box your going to get cancer if you smoke. Patrick swazye of "dirty dancing" and "ghost" fame has cancer, and guess what he smoked before and smokes now. Seriously, he states that unless his cancer gets better hes not going to give up the things he loves. Well guess what Pat, how about you go get some aids, and while you are getting treated you stick your self with used drug needles? Got a bad case of e. coli pat? here's some raw meat and eggs for you to munch on. Jesus Christ! Smokers, I don't understand you and never will.

OBAMA IS PLANNING A COUP!!!

Ha Ha not really, but listen. In my Contemporary Middle East Class on Tuesday a young man in the back of the class said something a little bit....weird. The Professor had just raised the question, Is it possible for someone in the US government to overthrow it and set up a dictatorship ala Hitler in Germany, The Bolshevics in Russia, Sadam, Castro, nameless others. There was a healthy discussion, that with the US system and how long it had been in place an overthrow of the US goverment was higly unlikely from someone on the inside, even the Pres would be hard pressed to accomplish the feat. There was talk of the right conditions for an overthrow like a national disaster, a long career, coupled with hard economic times and other things. I'm not suggesting that we're in that time now or will I ever. Americas goverment while shady at best and inefficent at worst won't be taken over from the inside. But That young man, well he not only thought it possible, but it's actually happening as we speak.
Student:"They say the best way to enslve a people is to disarm them. And with obama wanting to ban automatic weapons from the public thats just what he's doing, he doesn't want us to fight back when he tries to take over."
Yea sit back for a bit and let that sink in....you feel that? Thats a WTF. Now banning automatic weapons to me, seems like a great idea. Also I am a fan of the second amendment, and believe if you want to own a gun you go ahead and own a gun. But that doesn't mean you get to own any fucking gun you want. The second amendment was intended for all people to own a weapon so they could join in arms and form the US army in times of need, not so they can claim they're allowed to have whatever type of boom stick they damn well please. But seriously, automatic rifiles for our men and women in the services=great idea. Automatic rifle for Joe Sixpack= bad, bad idea. Ask yourself this question, what do you need with an automatic rifle? Do you plan on running into a horde of rabid grizzly bears soon? Is it the zombie apocalypse already? You going hunting and you run into a crowd of 100, 10 point bucks? NO! So why do you need an automatic rifle. you don't!
So this kid believes that because Obama wants to ban a useless weapon for the public, from the public, which is not too stable to begin with, so that means he's a few months and a proposed bill away from total dictatorship? WRONG. And this point was brought up by the class who were pretty much all against this kid as in a "your full of BS that ain't gonna happen kind of way", but this kid pointed out, we're in a recession, people are fanatical about Obama, he is taking weapons away, we're in a war, and we had a national disaster not too long ago, these are all logical steps toward domination. At that point I had it up to the proverbally here with the kid, so I turn to him and say
"You think the US government is going to be overthrown by obama?"
"Yes, all signs point to it"
"Oh you mean economic hardships, a national disaster, a president with unprecedented support, new radical legislation, and a war will lead to the overthrow of this government?"
"Yea thats whats going to happen"
This is when I dropped the end game F-U on the kid
"President Franklin Roosevelt Took over as president during the GREAT DEPRESSION, created social security and welfare, led the nation through pearl harbor, and WWII, all the while being so popular he was elected to 4 terms aka 16 years in office, and yet the US government still stands. FDR met all of your qualifications and then some and yet we never talk about the roosevelt dictatorship, and now with a limit on presidential terms obama will probably never meet the 'take over' standards as perfectly as FDR did and you still believe he's going to overthrough the government?"
The kid didn't respond, and the lesson moved on.
So seriously, have your opinions but don't make them ridiculous, you don't like Obama, fine don't like him, but don't claim it's because he is enslaving the US citizens for his coup of the gov.

Oh how I hate groundhogs

So a couple days ago Puxatoney Phil saw his shadow, and of course that means that friggin Groundhog has doomed us with another 6 grueling weeks of winter. Who cares if the first day of spring is officially 6 weeks away anyways. It is just a prime example of how groundhogs should be the most hated animal on planet earth. Don't believe me? Did you know more people in sweden die because of groundhog behavior then because of shark attacks! in 2002 there were 0 shark related deaths in sweden, Groundhog related deaths that year...guess, 5? Higher. 10? Higher. 50? Higher! 1,180 Groundhog related deaths! One Thousand One Hundred and Eighty Groundhog related deaths! Why haven't we exterminated these plumb rat rip offs yet?!? Why do we have to wait for spring to come just because a beaver reject is so stupid and yellow bellied he shits his pants and runs back into his hole everytime he sees his shadow on february 2nd? And did you know Puxatoney Phil isn't the only one of these furry death machines doing this? The world weather is affected by these things! There's one named Balzac Billy, BALZAC! And how could I leave out Sir Walter Willy from North Carolina, he's a royal! If we don't start taking care of this problem people, we could be looking at a very bleak future of total winter where we answer to Groundhog overlords who determine if we live or die on whether they sleep on their left side or right! That to me sounds like a horrible future and I am standing up for human rights against these evil deformed chipmunks!

On a side note, If you live in PA you know about the second most famous groundhog, Gus. He's always around telling the PA citizens what they could win from the PA lotto. Thats right Groundhogs now have the ability to walk upright, talk, Rap and gamble like the rest of us. I say first thing we do is assasinate this anthropogenic mutation before he multiplies. ( Itried finding a video of Gus online, but there were none, the groundhogs must be keeping it secret until there numbers are great enough, sneaky fucks)

Whats Ironic is we're not so lucky this demonhog is alive

First venture into blogging

Hello all of you reading this, which I am going to assume is a very small number of you at this point. This is my blog, and as you can see my name is Nishan. Nishan Thomas Garabedian to be exact, and I'll be damned if that wasn't one of the hardest parts of kindergarten was learning to spell my whole name. I am creating this blog for several reasons

1. I just got done reading my sisters blog, check it out at http://sessionstheblog.blogspot.com/
2. Why not create a blog and let the world know how I feel about certain subjects ranging from school, to family, to sports, religion, politics, and anywhere inbetween.
3. well Ill explain 3 a little bit later in this post

Well I think I should just introduce myself a little and let you know where I am coming from for the rest of this blogs life! You already know my full name, I am a 21 1/2 year old male, I am the middle child of a 5 person family and I love them very much, My home residence is in Red Lion, PA. And it is as country as it sounds. I have a wonderful girlfriend named Laura, and I love her very much. I am attending Slippery Rock University to become a history teacher (which is the reason I am creating this blog, because knowing about peoples lives throughout time is very intersting to me, nerdy to the extreme I know). My favorite activities include watching movies, playing video games, listening to music that annoys other people (Hello by Lionel Richie is a great one) Watching/discussing anything Football, and having fun whenever possible. I am usually a funny guy and am easy to get along with. I don't have extreme views on most things, but I believe in my stances. The Discovery channel is the most awesome channel around, I am one of the worst spellers you'll ever meet, but i try to make my words look like they sound so it shouldn't be too hard reading this blog. For an example of how bad I spell I didn't know how to correctly spell little until 8th grade It sounds like LIT-TELL so i spelled it littel, I know WTF.

Well now that you know a little about me, I think we should get right into my first rant, I was just going to tell you about my family, but I'll save that for later. No my first post is going to be about one of my favorite hobbies/activities/pass-times, whatever you want to call it, Football. This past weekend the Pittsburgh Steelers won their franchises 6th super bowl, or the most by any team ever. (The Packers Bears and Giants all have more Championships but this isn't about them) In case you were wondering SRU is about 45 mins north of Pittsburgh, thus making it in prime steelers country, or if its anywhere west of the Susquehanna river in PA thats Steeler country. I mention this because, before I started to going to school here, I didn't mind the steelers, in fact I'd go so far as to say I liked the steelrs. But alas times have changed, I indeed hate the steelers now, their fans, god love them for being dedicated, are without a doubt the most annoying in the NFL. Philly fans are rude, NY jets/giants fans are split between the teams losing their intesity and packer fans are all Favre bandwagoners, but "Stilla" fans are annoying. Before SB XLIII you say anything about the steelers and all they say is 5 rings. Why is pittsburgh so good? 5 rings, why are they going to win this SB? 5 rings, why does troy Palamalu grow his hair so long? 5 rings. You get the point, but now that they have the most SB rings it has become almost unbearable to see all the black and gold jerseys and the non stop, 6-pack and 6-burgh talk. No doubt if I didn't go to school anywhere near Pittsburgh, I would be happy for them what they've accomplished is great, but I'm sick of hearing it already. Also a shout out to the Cards who came with in 30 some seconds of their first NFL championship in 61 years, they are a good looking team and are young at almost every position, they should be a force for years to come.
Well guys, thats all I have for right now, I'll probably post several times a day just as a break from the constant reading I do so check back often for some more posts.
