Good ol' Days

Just thinking about the good ol days of 90's cartoons. Many a childhood memories were watching disney cartoons after pre schools and kindergarten. There were so many and I loved them all, some more than others of course so I'm just going to run down which ever ones I remember and what my favorite episode is, if I can remember it.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles- You can't ask a male about cartoons from the 90's and not expect TMNT to be near the top of the list. If i have to include a synopsis of what TMNT is I think you should just move along the tale of these shell-tacular brothers is second only to the story of jesus. My favorite episode is split between 2, when there were aliens disguised as pizzas or when the turtles meet themselves when they are no-longer teenaged. It also has arguably the greatest openings known to man

Duck Tails- Huey, Dooey, and Louie Duck live with their retarted rich unle Scrooge McDuck. They have many misadventures with the side kick from darkwing duck and just have a life like a hurricane here in duckburgh. My favorite episode, was actually the movie in which the three nephews find a magical lamp with a duck genie!

Darkwing Duck- Imagine Batman, except with a duck, and imagine robin as goofy, but as a duck, and imagine bruce wayne was a middle class american, and you have darkwing duck. Don't remember this show too much but the theme song was crazy awesome.

Inspector Gadget- My sister hated it, but I LOVE INSPECTOR GADGET. the man, while a bumbling idiot was hilarious and had whatever you wanted right at hand, or foot, or top of his head. Who doesn't want his helicopter apparatus? Favorite episode? hmmm one time penny and brain were trapped in a silo, i think, i dunno it was awesome

Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers- No not about male strippers, the cute chipmunks of course. They along with other woodland critters (mice to be exact) helped solve crimes for other small woodland creatures. They used their brains brawn and slapstick hijinks to get the job done. Favorite episode was when dale fell in love with a bat they team was trying to help, but turns out she was a bad guy, but then was good at the end, can't remember exactly but who cares its chip n' dale!
Batman- Oh shit! before the movie series jumped the shark but after Tim Burton made two of the sweetest movies known to man there was this. Again if you don't know batman...well i don't know what to tell you. Favorite episode? Hmmm they're all my favorite!

Well thats all I can think of now, ahh to relive the good ol days!

  1. The duck tails episode you're talking about was actually a movie...I think we owned it at some point. and Rip Taylor was the voice of the genie. I loved that movie, too.
